狗来, 鸡bye (pron. in chinese "gou lai, chee bye" -- meaning Dog arrives, bye Rooster) heheh
Today marks the 15th or finale day of CNY celebrating the year of Dog. a troop of Lion-dancers come prancing to usher in luck and prosperity.
draped in colourful costumes, the lion pair boogie skillfully to the ear-splitting beat of drums and cymbals. they peel pomelo and mandarin oranges, supposedly to bring fortune and wealth luck into the premise.
